About

The Sky View Acres Neighborhood Association (SVANA) was created in 1988 to fight the installation of high voltage power lines along two edges of the neighborhood. The Association successfully worked with Bernalillo County to have the lines moved to their current location along 528 and has since worked to protect the interests of our neighborhood.

Our stated goals are:

• Protect neighborhood interests
• Increase property values within neighborhood
• Promote safety within neighborhood
• Promote community among residents
