The Sky View Acres Neighborhood Association will be holding the 2015 annual meeting on Tuesday, March 10th 2015 at 6PM at the IHOP at Cottonwood & Highway 528. John Barney, Parks & Recreation Planning Section Manager at Bernalillo County, will be joining us to discuss developing the empty lot at the corner of Andrea Circle & Cielo Vista del Norte into a "Pocket Park". Please join us! Please call Anna Brown at 205-1597 if you have questions.
With the help of county and state entities, the Sky View Acres Neighborhood Association has been taking steps to improve the curb appeal in the neighborhood. The two circle lots were just cleaned, the lot at Cottonwood & 528 is now being regularly maintained, the weeds north of the flood control pond by the Octopus carwash have been removed, all signs in the neighborhood are being straightened, the locations of the stops signs are being evaluated to see if they can be made more visible, the pavement cracks are scheduled to be filled this spring and we're coordinating with neighbors to have free wood chips from Baca Trees delivered to help keep down weeds and dust. What are we missing? Please call Anna Brown at 205-1597 to talk through any issues or concerns that you have.
